Rigby’s Plastering ensures we complete our projects to the best of our ability. Having worked in construction for over 2 decades, Sean Rigby, set up Rigby’s Plastering in 2015, in almost a decade this has meant we have come across so many variations of plastering needs, and in perusing the solutions we have obtained the knowledge and expertise in these areas, and we pride ourselves on offering this full range to our customer base.
'I started off using 'Gypsum Plasters' as it's one of the most common forms of plastering. However, working in the rural areas around Derbyshire traditional plastering methods are much more common, such as Lime plastering and Sand and Cement, and are much more recommended and so my knowledge bank expanded.
Whilst learning the traditional side of plastering I found the decorative side of plastering which introduced me to the Italian art of Venetian plaster and Micro-cement finishes which I find to be a much more sophisticated and durable option. I have loved using all the different types of plaster and learning what it's for and how it's used we have just introduced our spray plastering to our knowledge bank and hope our customers enjoy the wide variety we offer.’’ - Sean Rigby @ Rigby’s Plastering
